Američki predsjednik Trump najavio premještaj vojnika iz Njemačke u Poljsku

Američki vojnici će iz Njemačke biti premješteni u Poljsku, rekao je u srijedu Donald Trump primajući u Bijeloj kući poljskog kolegu Andrzeja Dudu, ne otkrivajući pojedinosti o njihovu broju.

Poljaci su “nas pitali hoćemo li im poslati dodatne snage. Najvjerojatnije ćemo iz Njemačke otići u Poljsku”, rekao je američki predsjednik novinarima.

“Smanjit ćemo naše snage u Njemačkoj. Neki će se vratiti, drugi će poći na drugo mjesto, a Poljska će biti jedno od tih mjesta u Europi”, dodao je.

Poljski predsjednik Andrzej Duda radi “sjajan posao” u svojoj zemlji, rekao je u srijedu Donald Trump o svom gostu iz Poljske kojeg za četiri dana očekuju neizvjesni izbori za drugi mandat.

“Predsjednik Duda se jako dobro snalazi u Poljskoj. Radi sjajan osao, Poljaci ga smatraju velikim čovjekom … ne mislim da mu treba moja pomoć”, ocijenio je Donald Trump.

Američki predsjednik koji već dugo prigovara Berlinu da dovoljno ne sudjeluje u NATO-ovim vojnim troškovima, rekao je prošli tjedan da želi bitno smanjiti broj američkih vojnika stacioniranih u Njemačkoj koji će s 52.000 pasti na 25.000.

Poljski predsjednik je u vrtu Bijele kuće istaknuo da se “ne usuđuje govoriti američkom predsjedniku kamo će poslati svoje vojnike”, ali je rekao da ga je zamolio da “ne povlači američke snage iz Europe” kako bi sačuvao sigurnost kontinenta.
